DIGIZON STD + Recording
While DIGIZON STD was developed as a place-shifter, DIGIZON PVR was
integrated as both a place-shifter and time-shifter.
Even when watching shows on a remote TV, users can record the content
instantly or on a schedule. The full digital recording features also
enable users to record their favorite video content or TV programs in an
external USB hard disk drive (FAT32 format). Users can then playback the
recorded content anywhere and anytime. (This VOD function is optional)
By utilizing H.264 compression technology, DIGIZON PVR saves 75% more
storage space compared to the larger MPEG-2 videos.
